I feel like it's hard to hate on the movies when it does generate some interest for comic books. The elitism is kind of silly in that regard, if you want your favorite things to live on you need to be open to new fans and new revenue.

But I am probably a mixed fan, I've only read SOME comics, and I both love and hate them. Movies are much easier to digest and follow in the very least.

I am a big supporter of the comics industry, but I'm not so much a supporter in the way that I feel like super hero comics need to continue forever. I actually just want more of the general public to read comics and I want more original stories getting wider audiences and bigger attention. The internet has helped with that but there still needs to be much wider exposure for these artists and writers.

And oh yeah, comic artists really need to be paid more.
