Yeah. So you wanted your friend to enjoy your fandom, but only in exactly the same way you do or else fandom is spoiled for you. Either you are pretty new to fandom and are actually surprised that people ship things a lot, in which case, settle down and breathe. Or else you need to define your fandom interaction with your friend and let her know that while you are open to squeeing about the band/characters/whoever the fuck those people are with her, and she's free to be shippy, just not with you, because that's not your thing.
