What are these feels?

So, I have started reading Avengers fic, and I have noticed people saying in comments and in tags things like, "Bruce!Feels" or "All the Tony!feels."

Pls to be explaining these feels to me, fs? I feel silly and lost. :)

It's tumblr-speak so I'm not sure how well I can explain it but I'll give it a shot. Basically they mean that the Bruce or Tony in the fic made them have feelings towards the character (whether it be sympathy, adoration or whatever else). A lot of the time it's used to express deep sadness (have you seen those "right in the feels!" gifs?

I'm not where precisely the whole thing originated
