People refer to domestic/marriage fics as curtain fic, I thought, it's just a thing. And anyway since I'm hardly denying that writing it in an interesting way can be accomplished, the exaggeration is more complimentary.
And how I love that people always seem to assume I've never experienced anything like marriage when I get on this issue. I've been in a relationship for 7+ years and while I'm so very happy in the relationship I don't see why it would be interesting experienced vicariously by anyone else, even in an elaborated fictional way. "Boring" is subjective and I don't see why I can't find something boring without people who have bothered having a wedding acting like I'm insulting their personal lives.
