Scottish accents are hot as hell, so even though I don't know this man in particular, ain't no shame in that. (Though I AM wondering how panties 'fly off'. Have they been washed in pixie dust?)

A bit OT, but since we're talking about Scottish accents; are they accurate in Brave? I don't know what a real, typical Scottish accent sounds like and I'm very curious about this.

If you can find Two Thousand Acres of Sky (I don't think there's been a US DVD release, but it aired on PBS ages ago), it's about the most Scottish thing to ever be put to film. Or try Taggart.

Princess Merida's accent is 100% genuine- Kelly Macdonald has a pretty typical Glasgow accent. There are other Scots in the cast- Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Billy Connolly. But Emma Thompson and Julie Walters are both English.

I don't know any of these people except Craig Ferguson but I'm glad there are real Scottish voice actors in the cast.

Knowing a man is Scottish/hearing a Scottish accent is a massive turn on, for me too, OP. I nearly *DIED* when I was first getting into Merlin and I discovered that Colin Morgan has the sweetest accent.

I admit, I kinda have a bit of an accent fetish, though; any kind will do, from foreign(Australian, Scottish, Irish) to the ones closer to home(US deep south drawwwwll).

IIRC He wasn't born in Ireland, but he spent significan amounts of time there and has an accent? But, yes, I know. I should have appended that to my second sentence, when I flail over pretty much all accents, not just Scottish ones. I have a slight preference for Scottish accents (Damn you, David Tennant), but Irish ones are awesome too.

Mmm yeah, McKidd's voice is sexy indeed. His faux American accent has slipped up a couple of times (that I've noticed) on Grey's Anatomy before

I'm glad I'm not the only one who read this secret and immediately squealed KEVIN MCKIDD haha. Even though I have a huge bias for Vorenus (I blame the centurion uniform, HNNNNNNNNGH), I'd be happy and willing to watch him in like, everything else ever.

Which reminds me, isn't McKidd in Bunraku? I'm sure he plays a villain or something. ...I wonder if that's out over here yet

I don't care that much about Scottish accents, although some are nice, Edinburgh ones are probably the nicest. However I do wonder why John Barrowman speaks with an American accent, as his Scottish accent does sound much nicer.

I think when you live in Britain the accents sound quite different, I like Welsh accents, and some of the Northern ones can be nice, Geordie can sound cute. Don't find any sexy though, except maybe when they are combined with a lovely voice, like say Sean Connery.

No idea who the man in the pic is though.
