Whatever, it is. Their songs are pro-lesbian, whatever you think of them as a group, and when I was struggling with my sexuality I found a lot of comfort in them. Celebrities project an image they choose, that doesn't demand that the image is harmful if it's not true.

Oh right yeah sure, pretending to be straight because you fear for your safety, your family's safety, your career and livelihood is just like pretending to be gay for publicity reasons.
