General rant: If I read one more fic that employs the word "ghosting" or any variation of the word "ghost" used as a verb, I'm going to....well, I don't know what, but I'm going to be really mad.

IT'S NOT ACTUALLY A REQUIREMENT THAT YOUR FIC INCLUDE THAT WORD. TRY TO THINK OF SOME SYNONYMS FOR "MOVE LIGHTLY ACROSS THE SURFACE OF" THANKS IN ADVANCE.

i do this too! however, i don't mind if other people don't read it, since i write it mostly for myself. i think in a way, that's more fun, since you can do whatever you want with it without worrying about an audience's opinion.

but who knows? maybe more people are interested in one or more of your fandoms than you think, or they'll treat the characters they don't know as original characters.

I know it's stupid, but I always judge people when they say stuff like this because you're wishing people out of jobs (not the actors and writers, but all the lowly crew members who don't make millions a year) because you can't walk away from something that isn't giving you fannish satisfaction anymore. Plus, ya know, the normal argument about how there are people out there who are actually still enjoying it since it's still on the air, and this means you're selfish.

I bet your writing is really cool, OP. I think kink memes are a great way to gain confidence in one's writing. I actually know quite a few writers who basically always write on the kink meme first and if the response was positive, they post it under their username. I think I would do the same if I was good at writing :)

Wow...I almost agree (Only because I saw this once and hated it, so I don't remember how many stereotypes it descended into, because we know it did).

I was just thinking today "Hey, Tiana didn't really own an animal sidekick...because they turned her into a frog."

There's nothing wrong with noticing things like this and pointing them out.

My brother likes to mimic him when my sister is stressed and offer up ridiculous solutions until she laughs. It always helps her calm down and look at the situation analytically instead of emotionally.

Mmm. I know this is probably going to spawn some Mako!Hate, but, I think it's funny that the creators of the show stated they doidn't think Mako would be hated. It was stated "He's just a regular teenage boy"

You're supposed to root for Mako and Korra. And honestly? It's just a teen romance, not someone married for ten years with kids.
