there are such cases of supernumerary phantom limbs, where there is the delusion of extra limbs that were never there in the first place, such as a third arm coming out of the middle of your chest. There was a case of a man who had damage to his thalamus and believed he had a third lower leg jutting out of one of his knees. In his case, especially in the mornings, he reported that he was actually able to see the limb.

There are all sorts of strange mental delusions, usually as a result of brain injury that can seriously mess with one's proprioception. Other things like alien limb syndrome can cause a person to believe that an attached limb is not even theirs and belongs to another body.

Regardless if Therians or Ortherkin actually believe that they ARE a dragon or not, I do not doubt that some of them could possibly "feel" extra limbs.
