Tell you that, I think that some people are just insecure because they're too over-invested in their favorite ships ( I should write an essay about this point but it's OT) so it's not just that they hate other pairs or characters they can't accept that other people like what they dislike and they feel the need to validate their opinions to.. feel better I guess.
