(Anonymous) 2012-06-19 05:02 am (UTC)(link)They will forever be my favourite guilty pleasure, tbh. I've always loved that dark electronica genre. I know a lot of people in the LBGT community disliked their faux-lesbian act, and with good reason, but when I was younger they actually helped a friend of mine deal with her homosexuality from a young age. When it eventually came out that they weren't really gay it didn't affect her that much because she had more or less moved on from them by then, but she's always said that TATU were largely responsible for helping her to feel more comfortable in her skin as a young lesbian.
