1.) I had the same issue. I started to think that I was very good, but ... I came to realize that I will always have more to learn. Humility is a good lesson.

8.) If this is addressed to me (and I have good reason to think that it is), I think I know who you are, and I want to tell you that your appreciation of my work means the world to me. (Most people find my stuff unreadable, and I get a paltry number of reviews, most of them one-liners.) You do not annoy me, and I do not wish for you to be intimidated by me. :-) Never be afraid to talk to me.

18.) I do not think I would mind real gay porn if it did not have the anal focus. There are fans of man-on-man action out here who prefer other activities. :-(

19.) (The curse of #19!) Whether or not this is addressed to me (most likely not), I feel this urge to strike with the Fist of Justice and issue the reminder that there is a rule: The truly outstanding 'fics in a fandom are often those with the least number of reviews.

20.) As a Borders employee, I approve of one of your points. I cannot shelve the manga if there are squatters in the aisle, and that bugs me. (The good ones take the stuff they want to read and go sit in the café.)

Not my fault that I have fandom friends whose situations -- and how they pertain me -- often eerily match the secrets that get posted here.

if you read the other responses, you'll see you aren't alone in that regard. a lot of the responses could be anyone and be meant for anyone, not just you. I think it's arrogant you would believe that so many of your fandom friends would be talking about and dishing on you, especially in fandomsecrets. either that, or, babe, you need a new set of friends, for siriuz.
