Should I only talk about HagaRen behind closed doors?

If the only reason I'm going to Borders is to pick up a couple new manga, what's the problem with me standing over in that section perusing the shelves? Or is it only okay because I'm rail-skinny and therefore don't have a "fat" face for you to punch?

And, skipping past the most likely person-specific points, some of the best cosplayers I've seen were overweight--what does it matter so long as they're having fun and doing it well?

In other words: STFU and GTFO.

I'm not one to judge based on weight, but I've very rarely seen overweight cosplayers who didn't look bad because of poor judgement in costumes.

I saw one BEAUTIFUL Tifa at ComiCon a few years back--the best one there, by far. She had a perfect costume, which she'd made to fit her PERFECTLY. It was amazing. I've also seen photos of this really great Axel, one of the best I've ever seen--and I've seen a lot--and a heavy Princess Zelda who was just gorgeous.

These people knew how to make their costumes work for them, which is the hard part about cosplaying in general. It's rare to find a cosplayer that was half as good at doing that as these people were. It was REALLY cool.

Yeah I definitely don't think fat people can't cosplay too. It's just that it's often not done right. Hell, half the people who cosplay aren't doin' it right, both sticks and blimps alike. And the thing is, they don't care! Good for them. However plz to not be bitching and moaning when people take their photos and mock them on the internet for walking out in public in their shit costume.

But like I said in another thread, people will recognize a well-made costume when they see it (like you did), no matter how much the cosplayer themselves weighs.
