So do you hate everyone wearing sports jerseys? How about band t-shirts? Theme park shirts? Vacation destination shirts? People wear this stuff because OMG! They like it! Imagine that!

When people are fans, they like to advertise their interest. They like to share it. I don't wear my Gundam Wing t-shirt because I hate my body. I wear it because I love the show. I get lots of compliments on that old shirt. It's a conversation piece, a connection point between me and the world. I am not ashamed of my anime shirts. I like to share. If you don't like it, look the other way. No one's making you stare at the Nyanko on my chest.

If you think it's childish, that's your own personal opinion, but you're going to have to start hating sports jerseys and band shirts and all the other interest based shirts out there that people wear. It's the same thing. People expressing their love for and interest in a certain subject that they enjoy. It's not a crime. God forbid people enjoy themselves.

I wish all you damn anons would stop trying to make people ashamed of having a hobby that they enjoy and want to share. We're obviously not the ones who need to grow up.

I am not trying to make people feel ashamed for having a hobby...but then, when asked "What hobbies do you enjoy?" one does not reply, "Oh, I love going out in public in my oversized or alternatively three sizes too small anime shirt so that I can garner attention from complete strangers who also happen to be anime fans too, NYA~~~~!! *^_____^*" Actually my big problem is with their lack of subtlety, as they are almost always uglier than sin. But I think that is just the designer nazi in me. :P

If you don't like it, look the other way.

Now there is some sound advice, I must say! Anything you don't like, don't look at or do anything about! Genius!
