So you say, but none of that was mentioned. Not even hinted at. The last we heard, Katniss had voted yes for the new Hunger Games.

You may be right, but unless Word of God says otherwise, we'll never know. It sucks, makes me think that all of it was for nothing (which may have been the author's point, but still...).

So I think the OP is being a little harsh in this secret. The topic of the Hunger Games, IMO, is open ended.

Edit: Hey, maybe the movie will explain it! That would be nice.

We'll have to agree to disagree. The new Hunger Games weren't mentioned at the assassination of Snow, so the public would never know a decision like that was made. That's the only way a decision becomes set in stone in any government. If the public don't know, it didn't happened. I guess I just don't understand why you think a decision that wasn't written down in any way would stand, especially when the leader who was going to carry it out is dead. Unless the other Victors, who were never in any official capacity and have no actual power, bring it up to the new administration and they agree to it or vote again, in which case it's a new decision altogether, it's not an actual governmental position. I just don't think that has to be said.
