If only it were agreed that Katniss would be allowed to execute Snow AFTER Coin asked for the 76th Hunger Games, the theory that Katniss voted yes in order to kill Coin would make sense. But no, the execution was arranged in the beginning, and in the interim Katniss disagreed with and subverted Coin plenty of times without Coin reneging on any of her promises. So why people think it's "obvious" that Katniss gave Coin her vote in order to preserve the execution of Snow plan so that she could turn the arrow on Coin baffles me.

Yeah, I definitely don't think she was thinking that far ahead. I can see it as trying to stay in Coin's good graces long enough to find an opening without Katniss knowing then what said opening would be.

Except Katniss was already not in Coin's good graces, Coin sent Peeeta to kill Katniss... and Katniss knew it, and Coin knew that she knew it. And despite this, Coin still kept her promise to let Katniss kill Snow.
