Well, the female fans probably write more of it because most of them tend to be straight women who see penetrative sex as the standard. But yeah, gay people do lots of different kinds of sexing - mix it up a bit, writers.

I always thought it was because of the whole "the prostate gives an amazing, over the top, completely different from any other type of sex orgasm" idea. It's not like women can experience one via prostate, seeing as they don't have them, so it can either be related to vaginal sex or be seen as a completely foreign- and thus exciting- type of sex.
