Not gonna lie to you OP, I'm always annoyed by people who say 'I'm not going to watch/read _____ because it's different from what it was adapted out of!' Make a distinction. It's a loose adaptation, and a different story altogether. I went into the theatres to see a new story, not myths in movie form, because they're not meant to be myths in movie form.

Although I'll admit, the redhead thing bothered me when I first read the Thor comics too. But I got over it. Everything is too different to see it that way, you know?
