Avatar The Last Airbender fandom acknowleges that Mattel wouldn't make an action figure of Katara because of sexism.
Geez, even the Lorax fandom acknowleged that the SUV tie-in was hypocritical bullshit.

(Anonymous) 2012-06-25 04:27 am (UTC)(link)The fact that they're not featured is fairly understandable, I think--neither has their own movie, neither has superpowers, and neither are what most moviegoers are going to see the film for. They want to see Cap, Iron Man, and Thor (with some Hulk in there, too). Hawkeye gets a bit more because he seems at least a bit more superhero-y--but, honestly, I don't see him on that much.
