That fandom was a source of drama. The homophobia apologists, the BNFs who liked to think of themselves as part of the TGWTG crowd and only ever interacted with other fans to promote themselves, the people turning on each other, the shitty self-insert fic, their complete passivity when faced with trolls threatening people's lives, certain fan who thought that being genderqueer gave them a pass for acting however they wanted... and whatever the hell happened with JewWario.

My new fandom is full-on drama all the time, and it STILL isn't half as bad.

I don't want to repeat what I was told, because they're pretty serious accusations and neither I nor the person who told me have any proof any of it is real, but suffice it to say that some people should make sure to get all the facts straight before defending someone.
