It seems to be sound sensitivity...maybe they disliked the eating sounds? Kind of don't blame them...

It's irrational anger/rage at the sound of people eating. When the sound of eating/drinking is so incredibly irritating you can hardly stand it.

Apparently, it's the "hatred of sound", which often translates into a very low tolerance to the sounds of people eating, among other things.

OMG THANK YOU

A friend of mine has this. She always complains about her absolute hatred of the noises when her roommate eats apples or cereal, or swallows. She's assured me it doesn't bother her when I eat or swallow, but it's still given me something of a complex about swallowing around her.

It's the irrational anger/fear of certain sound(s) It starts, usually, when the person is around 7-9, and continues on, getting worse as the person ages.

Animals licking their pads, etc, is actually a common trigger.

Hmmm.....I may have a very mild form of this. Most of the time I can ignore it, but there are just sometimes when my dog, especially, starts chewing and such and it DRIVES ME FUCKING INSANE. Especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. It's like I completely focus on it, even when I try not to. I've been kept awake all night by that before.

But it's not all the time for me...so...I dunno if I actually have this in a mild form or if it's just OCD or...what. ._.
