ok, we get it, you're mad it's heteronormative and there's not even any room for ambiguity because everyone's paired off. IA with you that it's frustrating, but the creators probably got wind of the fact that the most dedicated (adult) fans (with the most money) were shippers/involved in ship wars, and consciously or unconsciously developed the sequel to capitalize on that.

As for pairing off a same-sex couple... yeah, it's true that they wouldn't do it on Nickelodeon because of the uproar and the sponsors, but they could have two "REALLY DEDICATED FRIENDS" or focus on a same-sex "friendship" in general and keep it ambiguous.

I don't watch this show btw, so

Huh...I was under the impression that you might've saw through the secret as a possible ruse, thinking it was using reverse psychology and interpreted it as a critique on the show for its emphasis on romance and heteronormative nature.

I think trollometer got it too. So, I guess that's something.

...I'm going to go out on a limb here and, since you're the only one to take this stance [and the other anon had to bend over backwards for it to work], say you didn't get it.

stand for realizing what the secret-maker is trying to say, even if you stand alone
