Eh, I think most of the Coulson/Clint ships, she only appears as The Cheerleader because that's her role in the fic, not in the team. She's obviously worked with the guys very closely and for awhile. Most of the time, the dynamic between the two guys is already established before the Avengers, so she's a silent supporter because it's already established.

And really, compared to all the female bashing I've seen in nearly every other fandom, this treatment is pretty pale. Most of the time Natasha would have been written as a heinous bitch with no feelings or that she enjoys hurting Clint's.

Also, most of the time I see Natasha as having something on the side, but super stealthy about her own romantic liaisons ;) Because she's a badass ninja like that!
