I agree with you, anon sounds really young.

Also, MPB strikes lots of people. I can think of three off the top of my head who were balding as much as Coulson, if not more, by age 25. It happens. Coulson's isn't even that advanced.

People shipping him with Darcy does give me a bit of a 'hunh?' moment, but that's all Darcy. I can't imagine her personality being attracted to Coulson is all. Tony, yes (common consensus puts him between 35 and 45) because they work together personality wise.

Oh I'm well aware of the MPB issue. But that being said, I tend to run a character close to the age of the actor playing them and Clark Gregg is 50 so I tend to think of Coulson as mid to late 40s at the least.

I can't see either of them being attracted to each other (in Darcy's case). lol But then, I left Avengers shipping the hell out of Phil/Nick so... yeah. I'll just be over here. LOL

Sorry, I didn't mean to address that previous one to you, but to the anon above. I'm afraid I just threaded it the wrong place.

I agree I don't see either Darcy or Coulson going for the other one. The most would be a platonic mentoring relationship. I mentioned Tony because he's a lot closer in age to Coulson, but could conceivably be written in a non-crack ship with Darcy, where they would bond of ignoring authority and their 'shoot first' mentalities. Even then, though, I see it more as a friendship.

Haha, yes!Fury/coulson is one of my rarepairs. The only problem I could see is it never getting past a friendship due to fraternization policies. (Plus it ruins my crack-headcannon that Fury's married to someone just like Frozone's wife because she's a BAMF)

No worries. lol It happens.

lol On your last point, I'm just going to leave you with this:

Okay, even though the age difference wouldn't be there, I don't think it would be much better to date someone young who is already going bald. That's actually worse, since they're not just going bald, they're going bald at a young age. By the time they are older, they'll probably be completely bald and if you have children, they might inherit the early balding thing.

LMAO! Seriously? Balding isn't like Huntington's disease or some other devastating genetic disease. And, research on genetic factors for mpb found the condition is linked to the X-chromosome. My knowledge of genetics is shaky, but I'd say that means it's maternally linked, seeing as males get a their X-chromosome from their mom.

and when you get fat, no one will want to date you, either.

keep eating, dumbcunt

True, the gene for baldness is carried through the mother. That's why hair loss affects more men than women. Men only need one gene with it, women need two.

Also, baldness has been linked to higher testosterone counts, which is probably why so many athletes and businessmen have forms of it. It's actually an indicator that they're more likely to be motivated to be the best they can be, and father healthy children. That's part of why bald heads are inexplicably interesting, even if not conventionally attractive.
