NO NO NO NO

AS A LIGHT-SKINNED POC, I CAN TELL WHEN LIGHT-SHINING-ON-FACE IS BEING USED IN THE CORRECT WAY, AND IT IS PRETTY OBVIOUS TO ME THAT IT IS BEING USED IN THIS WAY ON PURPOSE BY YOU (POSSIBLY IN CONSPIRACY WITH THE SHOW'S ARTISTS) TO WHITEWASH THIS CHARACTER OF COLOR. I AM OFFENDED.

But actually...I've seen vague mention of some people on Tumblr using the word "whitewash" in conjuction with Korra, though I have yet to discover the origin of their argument. Something about Bolin...? What...is that even about? Because I'm not getting it.

I honestly have no idea. I'm not actually familiar with the show, but I've seen a lot of Korra wank on the part of SJWs who disagree with the way fan writers and artists portray her as having too light of a skin tone in their works of art, or having problems that "aren't ethnic enough" in their stories.
