Sounds make them violent, irrationally angry, they start to panic, their heart rate goes up, they cry, they punch things, they exert irrational anger towards the source of their frustration. It is not normal to want to punch someone's teeth in or hurt them because they are making smacking noises.
This IS a disorder.
