Oh :( I wish I could do anything more than leave a silly message, but I hope that you will have health until the next year and that the season will live up to your expectations.

(everyone has something different that they care about, you don't need to 'fix' your priorities just because it's a television show, and in this case a wonderful one!)

Your priorities are yours, and yours alone. I doubt anyone would be dickish enough to try to take that away from you, OP.

I know saying this is silly, but I wish you could get better, against everything known.

I know nothing said will make your situation better, and I'm not really sure I believe in them, but I hope miracles exist and you are somehow granted one. If not, well, it would be fantastic if you were around next season to see this, and I hope that happens for you.

And honestly, as others have said, this is your life, if those are your priorities, what's wrong with that?

As a person who's father cut several of my favorite TV channels because "It's too childish and you have to grow up", I hope you'd be able to live long enough to see what you want.

*hugs* And you know what? Fandom matters, our shows/whatever matter. A very close fandom friend of mine died from an illness, and when our show came back from hiatus and then when a new season started it seemed surreal and wrong that there should be new episodes that she wouldn't see.

I'm really sorry, OP.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your priorities. Your priorities are whatever they are, and personally, I've always felt like the simple, everyday things that we cherish can feel like some of the most important things to hang onto. They're what make life what it is.

I hope you're able to see the next season.

You know I think your feelings are very normal, I always think that if I'm into a series, I used to hope I lived to see the last Harry Potter book. I once mentioned it to a Psychologist I know, and he said that's actually the sort of thing that motivates all of us, and is very normal.

I've even wondered if the afterlife allows for you to access books, films and television!

I really hope that there is something that can be done for your illness OP, and that you do get to see the next season of your show.
