20. Oh god EXACTLY.

Why should the guy in question care if some random girl doesn't like who he's dating? It's got absolutely nothing to do with her. She's not the one who's dating the girl - and any guy who's shallow enough to actually pay any attention to what someone he barely knows thinks about the person he's dating is the kind of guy who's shallow enough to throw Ms I-Don't-Like-Your-Girlfriend over too the minute another more appealing prospect comes into view.

That said, though, I think this (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/56648948/) is goddamn hilarious, so I guess there's one good thing about that stupid song.

What makes me even sadder is Avril is supposed to have matured as she got older. Sure, generic pop lyrics are okay for her but not with awful messages likes this. There's nothing mature about her. She seems to be a real dick from time to time. I hit myself in the face when I see interviews with her.

Light's expressions absolutely make that for me. I know that's what I'd do if someone randomly came up to me and started demanding that I ditch my (hypothetical) partner and take up with them just because they didn't like the look of them. WTF is about the word...

And yeah, the message of the song is awful. It's even more awful that the video depicts what look like a group of supposedly cool rebels essentially ganging up and bullying a girl who's done absolutely nothing but go out with the wrong guy (and dare to do it without a poser-punk-perfect Hot Topic wardrobe on). Fangirls, that's assault. And the girl in question has every right to be a little pissed about it. What's she supposed to do, just throw up her hands and say 'okay, take him?' Though the guy's got to be just as big a dick as video!Avril is to actually pay any attention to her.
