17. God, I semi-rationally hate those fucking comics. But hell, Ocelot's pretty awesome in any incarnation. It's jsut the younger one gets hit in the head with a motorcycle more.

It was more the devoted friendships between shounen manga characters I was jealous of. A world full of people who would answer the question of "I shoot either you or your friend, who's it going to be that dies?" with an incredulous stare and "are you kidding me? ME!" and that's expected behavior...

It's 340 AM and I'm not making sense but... yeah.

17. I'm curious why you hate the comics. Just curious, no attack coming, because I haven't read them yet.

For one thing, Ashley Wood's art makes my eyes bleed. The more relevant problem is how blatantly wrong they get the characters. Just flipping through it, the first thing I see is a scene where Otacon runs into Wolf while going to feed the dogs, and she's about to kill him just for the hell of it. Which is the kind of thing that she states outright that she doesn't do. Gaaah.
