The comments disturb you!I find this incredulous and unbelievable. To think, that a meme that has been nothing but encouraging, courteous and accepting would cause you embarrassment, well I'm embarrassed for you. It's bad enough we get belittled for what we like, but to see it come from someone who lurks in the fandom, it's saddening.

Most of us are not native speakers, that's a certain. So expect stories with errors and wording to not come across as coherent. "wetting their pants with joy..." I sense jealousy,no. More like you are irked that a fan-artist gets addressed with certain words. Maybe, maybe, those "fawning comments" are because said commenter looks up to said fan-artist and that's that. Are your sensibilities bothered by that.

And as for certain people getting addressed differently, well maybe it's a word of endearment. Ever think of that.

Nah, don't worry. You'll get better with practice. Try to read books in English; seeing texts written and edited by professionals is the best way to improve your grammar (besides studying grammar itself, of course).
