It's okay not to like characters everybody seems to love. While I do love Tony, I'm the same with lots of other popular characters - dislike them, almost hating them, actually being squicked by them, even - and like you, I often can't explain why. A few examples: Wolfram von Bielefeld (Kyou Kara Maou), Justin Taylor (Queer as Folk) or Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter).

Well in your defense, hating racist snotty villains is what you're supposed to do. Fandom makes it easy to forget that in general, the people who like the Draco Malfoys are actually the odd ones out.
