Yeah, I was surprised at how bad I felt for him too (since, you know, he was a bit of a dick).

I was also a little surprised that I cried when Noatok and Tarrlok died. Congrats on getting me to shed a tear for the two biggest douchebags on the show, LoK

I'm still mad about that. Tarrlok and Noatok was the best part of that finale for me.

I think it's that showing Tarrlok realizing that they were too far gone in the cycle of revenge to be redeemed and was outright TIRED of it done me in.

Too bad that the rest of the season finale was an outright mess... well outside General Iroh kicking ass.

I read a fic a few days before the finale, and Tarrlok was a horrible douchebag there. More than that, actually, a ruthless, ice-cold sadist. And I was all, "Yeah, I can see him do that. He's such an asshole. He's worse than Amon! Thank fuck Amon came to save Korra."

And then... yeahhh.

As for Amon, I kind of felt bad for him when he got out of the water and looked just so frightened and defeated.

Pity, though, I can't read any Amorra fic anymore.

Also, I was the one who submitted that Amon/Tarrlok secret a couple of weeks ago. Oops...
