I was enjoying this secret until the "bonus" part... I think it's cool that I can flip the cover and have the Shepard I play facing out at me, but I don't get angry when people who play the male Shepard want to see their version. If I can happily have my female version, I'm not going to get angry when someone else wants to have their male version. No reason to get upset, OP, just point out that the cover can be reversed to show the male Shepard. Then they have the version that they want while you have the version you want. No harm, no foul.

Honestly? To me that's a really weird bone to have to pick with this secret. I'd feel a little annoyed too, if I was OP, if people complained about the cover with a woman on it. Even if I knew that it was probably just a preference thing, it would still piss me off just a bit.

It's the context in which they say it that makes all the difference. It's usually a make it or break it issue, until I tell them they can reverse it. Then they're cool with it.
