I lol at James but I can't truly hate her. If I could turn my shitty fanfic into a shitty book that gave sad housewives fap material and make a buttload of money off of it, I would do it in a hot second. It's not like I have standards.

I'm not judging her for making money off of her fanfic; objectively, it's genius from a business perspective. I'm just sad she didn't seem to have any interest in bettering her craft. It's obvious those books didn't have editors go anywhere NEAR them. If I were going to write a "sellout" novel to make money, I would at least try to make it as well-written as I could.
