12. I know exactly how you feel. I'm a religious person (and a political moderate), and I really hate the way fandom seems to equate all of Christianity with the lunatic fringe of ultraconservative Evangelists, simply because they are (unfortunately) the most vocal group. A lot of "fandom liberals" strike me as being just as close-minded as the people they claim to hate.

18. I'm sorry. That's really, really terrible. *hugs* You shouldn't be afraid to post things in your journal. That's what makes it yours. If people think that you're faking it, they can just gtfo.

12. Oh definitely. You sound like me. I'm Christian and have fairly moderate political views and I've had some friends in the past start blasting Christianity for the simple fact that there are some Evangelical crazies out there. But they're just a very outspoken fringe and give us all a bad name. As for 'fandom liberals' being just as close-minded, IAWTS. I wouldn't start giving my pagan friends flak over what they believe in because there are some people who identify as such who do have issues, thusly I don't want them grouping 'Christians' into the same sphere as the close-minded bigots who call themselves by the same name.

Ah, my apologies for not being specific enough. It was getting a bit TL;DR, as it was, so I didn't get into that. It's just that I cannot write her character AT FREAKING ALL, and I love her so much that it pains me to see how I mangle her. Soooo I don't write fic about her. That's all ^^;;
