Teal'c is being mocked by the goa'uld who killed his father but they are at a peace summit and any act of violence negates the whole thing and Earth will be under attack. Daniel stops him from avenging his father with a light touch.

/I don't think I've had a pairing since with such a great dynamic and rich possibility.

Aww, poor Teal'c! I'd be tempted too! Good thing Daniel was there. (That IS sweet. And pretty shippy. Damn, you've put the idea in my head. Might try looking for fic when I get bored and just see how it is.)

Sadly most of my favorites have been taken down but there were still some good ones out there about four months ago. Though I do prefer the ones set earlier in season (not that I turn down any brothers in arm fic). Just earlier in season Teal'c always seemed so baffled and humbled (and a little fascinated) by Daniel's attitude towards him after everything that went down between them.

I love that kind of dynamic...it sounds adorable. I never knew they had that close of a friendship. Huh.

It's mostly fanon? But they really had their moments. Though I say this as someone who has all seasons on box set and watched them with another Teal'c/Daniel fan.

Fanon is sometimes more interesting than canon though! But yea, on a team show like SG-1 I think it's pretty easy to make a case for any pairing. Usually everyone does get their moments, which is why I love casts like that.

We all use our shipping goggles occasionally! It's all good.

I think everyone on SG1 had their shippy moments. Personally I prefer good old BFF team!fic, but I can definitely legit see just about any pairing. Some had more moments than others, but they were a pretty close group of friends so all had some connection. Which is part of the reason I love Stargate so much. So much love going around!

i loved jack/sam so much in the brief window i was into sg-1 some years back, idgaf.

i also liked jonas, cameron and vala more than i ever cared for either daniel or teal'c, so i think i'm just an oddball as far as sg-1 fans go.

Aw, I liked Jonas too! Of course more in that annoying little brother way but I never got the hate. Vala was one of my favs! Totally a Thief/Muscles shipper here. Not the biggest Cameron fan but that was only because he "outranked" Sam when she had equivalent rank and more experience.
