Really? So anons who want to present a counterpoint can't argue their case to this secret, is that it? The creator cannot have any supporters on this site, yes?

Honestly, the comic itself isn't all that great but it's still amusing. But I don't blame the guys writing the comic for wanting to make some kind of financial gain off it, though I still think $400 is a huge goal. But, I don't see anywhere that the writer demands monetary gain from readers. It's just there. He still updates every week with or without anything going into the tip-jar. For me, there's little difference between that and a street performer with a hat out for donations.

And as someone who's heading in the way of starving artist path myself, yeah, I'm inclined to disagree with this secret. Though the writing and art, well, it's better than a lot of things I've seen but it could stand to be better.
