(Anonymous) 2012-07-04 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)If it makes you feel better, though, look into what double eyelid surgery actually looks like (there are a few good before and after websites), what using the double eyelid glue/tape looks like when used. On the surgery websites there are often people who had the 'natural' crease when is very different looking, who wanted it made deeper. It helps get an idea of what is natural, what's natural with maybe some glue aid, and what is surgical.
Another aid in being a snoop is finding picture of whoever you're curious about with their eyes either half closed or completely closed. The look of the scar is very different from the natural crease people have on their eyelid when they're closed. I actually took pictures of myself to compare. XD
Also, if in pictures the depth of their eyelid crease seems to change from between, like. Publicity material to a fan taken shot of them at the airport, I would say that the use of the glue or tape is more likely.
Basically, I don't think it's really a big deal to be curious about it (obviously, given my track record), but that really shouldn't stop you from enjoying shows, music or movies that you might otherwise really like.
