I was going to try guessing but... I think I could cover my eyes and randomly point to a secret that seems most likely trolly or exaggerated for effect.

My guess is that secret from a few weeks back about how an OP wanted to cosplay by painting her skin in blackface and didn't understand why it was bad because her country didn't have a history of blackface, therefore, she should be able to do it despite the fact that she could easily look it up since she was on the internet.

Why is it surprising that people have opinions that you find offensive?

The best trolls, the most effective trolls, imo, are effective because they pick apart a (possibly controversial) topic and twist it or flip it into something so outrageous and inflammatory that people should be able to see under and around the trollish statement to the issue at hand. But, a lot of people don't see the issue at hand and take your statement at face value- there you get wank. Or, they agree with your outrageous remark- there you've outed a bigot, idiot, etc. and you know now who to avoid.

I'd say you were a pretty effective troll.
