That doesn't want Savannah and Adam to hook up in Thirteen? I know she's twenty one now, but she knew him as an adult when she was twelve. Just...squicky to me

I'd definitely rec it! The books switch narrators, the last in the series comes out at the end of July.

Bitten/Stolen-Elena only female werewolf/Bitten against her will by her lover Clay Danvers.

Dime Store Magic/Industrial Magic-Paige young witch who falls for a sorcerer, a huge nono in the Otherworld (They're different races, and tend to hate each other)

Haunted-Eve, a dead witch/Mother of Savannah

Broken-Elena

No Humans Involved-Jaime, celebrity ghost whisperer of sorts, Necromancer (She sort of grew up in a toddler in tiara's kind of life, and it effected her choices growing up, that and seeing/hearing the dead didn't help!)

Personal Demon/Living with the dead-Hope, a very rare type of half-demon that almost never lives very long. They have a chaos addiction that usually kills them, and so Hope is fast approaching the oldest child Lucifer has ever had!

Frostbitten-Elena

Waking the Witch/Spellbound/Thirteen-Savannah, I won't give too much away, but she's the young daughter of the now deceased black witch/half demon Eve Levine. She's a very powerful witch, but I can't say why without spoiling DSM These are the only three books in the series that read as a trilogy ,with no solid ending

Ack, spoiler! I'm about to start Waking the Witch (not your fault I'm slow/should expect spoilers on FS, etc etc but I wish I hadn't read that crossed out sentence)

Ah, sorry. If it helps she might not. It could just be symbolic, since the whole ref is from a very, ahh, sick shall we say, main character.

No probs. I'm distressingly used to accidentally spoiling myself on the internet because I'm just horribly behind in *everything* I like.

Looking forward to catching up on the last couple of books though - I know there are issues in the Elena/Clay relationship that people brought up the other day, but I have really enjoyed the Otherworld series as a whole.

Nah, I'm not into them, either. Not so much the age difference per se but the whole "I've been in love with you since I was kid!" thing (which I also didn't like about Kataang in AtLA). On the plus side, it's not like she's been ~saving herself for only him~ all this time, so that makes it a lot better. I don't get where all the anticipation for it really comes from, either...were there lots of Savannah/Adam scenes in Elena books I skipped or something? It just feels like he was this passing minor character Sav had a crush on, which works...except all this time it hasn't gone away/turned into love. Eh.

Still not the trainwreck that was Clay and Elena back in Bitten at least! :D I'm not attached to them as a couple, but I'm not super opposed to it, either, since it could be much worse. :)

ETA: Also, I remembered right as I hit post that Savannah and Adam are supposed to be bffs, which is fine...but Paige and Adam were also once bffs and Adam apparently had kind of a crush on Paige, too. Now, it's not like Paige is Sav's actual mother, and the age ranges aren't that far removed, but that does still feel a little awkward to me.

Yeah, that's part of it for me, too. He was basically her adopted mother's age. Just...off putting, a little bit.

Alright, so, I'm wondering if Hope will have her daughter in the last book. It was sort of random for them to have kids, too, I was a little like "Whoa, but...I thought they thought that idea was silly in her last book? Ah well!"

She was fairly far along, wasn't she? And childbirth is always great drama potential. =p Surely that kind of thing wouldn't be left hanging, i.e. to have events happen so quickly that everything ends before Hope gets to term. I worry for her. =\

I'm figuring her pregnancy was related, possibly, to her continued sanity that bypasses every other child of Lucifer out there. Either they changed their minds or it was an accident that they rationalized they'd keep, but related to Hope's potentially limited time. Or maybe I'm retroactively muddling my impressions based on how ragged she was from the overload of visions + pregnancy. *shrug*

I'm guessing the pregnancy has strengthened her powers somehow, since she is looking into the future (Or at least it seems) Then again her father might be the guy who took Sav's powers, so that might be why, heh.

She was seven months along...So I think it could be possible. There's something I'm really looking forward to, but I don't know if you've read that page she posted a long time ago on her twitter, so won't mention it in detail :x

Oh, and I wonder if that little girl she helped is actually a half-demon....Maybe I'm thinking too much into that!
