I am just happy to see a cast that reflects NYC. Not only do you have actors of different ethnic backgrounds playing Americans, you have different nationalities living in NYC as well. In real life, the city is filled with all sort of expats that I was hoping they would keep Sherlock in English because why couldn't an English guy live and work in NYC? Thousands of them do right now.

London is not exactly monocultural, y'know.

I know. And, yet, so many versions of Sherlock's story that is set in London are. Moffat's is all but lily white and monocultural. They even made the America Adler English.
