i honest to god don't care if you like the ship so long as people don't claim it's canon. then i get annoyed. which i know i shouldn't, but i can't help it.

it can be canon all you like in magical fandom fanfic land, but in the show itself is it not canon. please differentiate.

I remember reading some wank somewhere that since they refuse to make Wincest/Destiel/Sassy canon that the writers are homophobic. Forgetting the fact that Sam and Dean are brothers and Cas is a nonsexual/asexual being crammed into a Jimmy suit.

Pretty much the reason I can't bend my mind to ship Castiel with anyone. Speaking canonwise, I cringed while watching that brothel scene or the kiss with Meg. He's an angel; I just kept thinking that it'd be like someone showed me a box of ants and expected me to get hot and heavy with them.

I agree with you, and don't even ship Destiel, but have to mention: Castiel has kissed Meg and is VERY close to her in canon, not to mention him marrying Daphne (while with amnesia, though). I think it would have been better if they kept him asexual, but every time they toe away from that idea, it's with a woman, so clearly heterosexual. That probably annoys the D/C camp.
