What's a bit frustrating is that if they had been guys, people would have been all over their "bromance".

I've seen a fair amount of enthusiasm for the pairing around Tumblr...

I don't think that's necessarily true. There are a few male acting duos that I'd love to see RPF for, but for various reasons -- too old, not typically attractive, more obscure than trendy/hyped -- there's nothing to be found. So you can't just say that it's a question of their sex; things aren't that black and white.

i really hate this complaint for f/f ships. considering that most people in fandom are into men (strictly or otherwise) it really shouldn't be surprising that most of the people they fangirl, write porn for, ship, etc. are men. it isn't misogynistic to not be into women, and the implication that it is is gross :\

They were all over tumblr and I would be surprised not to see a lot of requests for fic in Yuletide.

They're hot, I have no strong feelings against them, I've seen gifs of their interactions...sure, I can get behind this. XD

WOW, what i mostly see when the two of them are together is utter contempt!

I didn't see many interviews or much press for this movie, so I can't say anything about how their chemistry is, but this picture is lovely. There's probably fic out there somewhere, anon.

How incredibly sad is it that people can't be good friends with other people without someone yelling, "OH, THEY MUST BE FUCKING! That's the only way to explain how close they are."

And this goes for every pair-up. Men being friends with men. Women being friends with women. Men being friends with women.

Kind of OT, but the only time I've gotten angry about bff-shipping is when I was deeply closeted and in love with my bff.

I dunno, I'm kinda glad it applies to all pairings at least.

Naw, these two aren't shipped because they're friends. It's because they're always teasing audiences in interviews about sexy things they may or may not have done together. It's stupid, extremely forced pandering in my opinion, but I'm just saying, fans aren't just pulling the 'ship out of their asses.

Idk, from most of the interviews I've seen of the two of them, it mostly seems to be Charlize trolling the fuck out of Kristen.

Huh. I'd never even thought about them that way.

When I was looking at all the glamour shots of these two together, all I could think was how desperately I wished Snow White and the Huntsman had a romance between their characters. They just look so good together. To hell with the huntsman.

Well I read a fic and damn it was hot.

I love their relationship/friendship! It delights me.
