We've all been there, a young - perhaps even naive - fan-thing, exploring the wonders of the internet. We've all gone "hey, that thing that I loved from my childhood, let me google that!" and then we've all vastly regretted it, in one sense or another.

So tell me fellow fan-things. What bit of nostalgia have you innocently google-image searched and - out of the blue - then been HORRIFIED to find? What was rule-34'd that you'd never thought possible to rule-34? What sweet and beautiful thing from the golden memories of your precious childhood was turned into explicit, pornographic fanart? Please share your lolarious experiences.

Me: I decided to google my favourite childhood playstation game, Spyro the Dragon to see if it was still a thing - and then BAM! PURPLE DRAGON PORN. BIG PURPLE DRAGON PENIS. AND THEN I COULD NOT STOP LOOKING, EVEN IN MY HORROR.

I HATED that.

OH! I remember the first time I saw that. I was sad the whole day. It was like someone had slapped me in the face or something, I was that surprised. Bad surprised. Awful surprised.

Not from googling, but thanks to f!s, I needed some serious brain bleach in the Toy Story section of my brain...

Jeff Goldblum and Benjamin Bratt broke up amicably a few years back, and are still best friends, living in NY as roomies. However, Benji never stopped being in love with Jeff, and has always attempted to manipulate Jeff into taking him back.

Only issue is, Jeff's been dating Samuel L. Jackson for a year now, and they're so in love it appears nothing can break them up.

It's Jeff and Samuel's one year anniversary, and Jeff's present for Samuel is to fulfill a fantasy of his. Samuel and Jeff have only ever had very tender and loving sex, but once Samuel bashfully told Jeff of a fantasy he has where Jeff is tied up and blindfolded, legs spread, just there for him to use and pleasure. There is this lj post with a lot -and I mean A LOT- of porn pictures of childhood franchises and media circling around, but I don't have the link.

Anyway, there was one of the Berestein Bears (incest) that really made me lean back in surprise. I didn't grow up with them, but I had seen pictures of them around and they were so childhood-like and innocent and... yeah.

Also, there was this Jasmine/Rajah pic (wasn't there a secret recently...?), and, when the first thought that crossed my mind was, "That's not what a feline penis should look like. Why do all the penises in this porn art dumb look human when most of the characters aren't human?", I realized that the internet had me a very, very different person, just by scrolling through that post - I mean, seriously, after a while all the porn sort of blurred together. I think I've been inoculated against (regular vanilla-ish cartoon rule 34) porn forever.

I really don't know. SA, fandom, and chan boards kind of blew my ability to be shocked by graphic junk, much less favourite childhood characters rendered in poorly detailed positions. I wish to reclaim my shock :(

I don't even remember being shocked at omg by precious childhoodz, how dare someone make porn of this.

Maybe because I started looking for a lot of this stuff for personal interest at like thirteen (this probably wan't ideal!)

It wasn't even a huge part of my childhood, but the most startling/disturbing thing I've seen was Kim Possible porn. I don't know why it surprised me so.

Oh, and the growing trend that is GRAVITY FALLS INCEST PORN no thank you!

It's hard for me to remember things that I actually felt protective of- I feel like I perved most of my childhood fandoms all by myself.

Though that one fic where Link, upon being aged up in Ocarina of Time, obsesses over his penis for a page did quite probably scar me for life.

There was this one artist on Y!Gallery that I saw when I was in high school and using that website, and she had done some really disturbing shota porn of various children's cartoon characters. I also saw one of the dad from Rocket Power that freaked me out. There was a lot of weird shit on Y!Gallery....

When I was 11 years old I somehow accidentally stumbled upon explicit slashfic of Batman and the Joker. I wept.

This never happened to me until very recently, with Haddock/Tintin slash because for whatever reason that just creeped me out. I guess because when I read the comics and watched the cartoons as a kid I always thought of Haddock as like an uncle or paternal figure to Tintin. I think it's because Haddock looked kinda like my dad (with the full beard and everything) and acted a bit like my dad, getting pissed easily and yelling and shit. So because of that I thought of him as being, I guess, more like family to Tintin, so seeing this weird bear/cub gay porn thing going on is freaking me out.
