Are most of your conversational partners female? Because there are like three consistent sort of voices (not really voices but I lack a better term) and most are male while I'm biologically female. I find that interesting if unimportant.

I have a male version of me voice but I don't ever listen to him. And I make fun of his hair.

Don't take this the wrong way but I might love you a little bit right now. (uh, well, love to everyone I didn't make that clear but especially about the hair thing.)

That's really cool that you both have different genders in your heads!

Also as far as I can remember the ones that are human are female but. . .a lot of them aren't human (re: monsters) so the gender is ambiguous I guess? Does that make sense? No it doesn't :P

It makes sense! About as much sense as picking on boy!me's hair when clearly if I were a boy I would make the same hair choices!

I don't honestly know that I realized how odd and unique brains were until this thread. No one on this thread seems to think the same!

I know! I got a cool kick out of this thread.

I kind of love this entire thread. I love seeing how other people think and how their minds work. A long time ago a friend mentioned what their inner world looked like and I was fascinated and proceeded to ask everyone I knew what their mind looked like (I got so many different fascinating answers: bookshelves, a giant filing cabinet, different planets, caves, a whole house). I did not have an inner world and was shocked that people had such descriptive minds. And since then it's like it just opened up the idea about how vastly different people's minds are.

It's also kind of nice to hear that I'm not totally a weirdo in the way I think - our minds actually seem to work very similarly. Yours just sounds a bit more organized (did I mention the ADD?).

That's interesting actually that you say that because I'd put money on the supposition that our brains are wired similarly. Mental disorders intertwine and all that. Mania has a lot of the same characteristics of ADD, and doctors often get them confused!

It's so funny for me to think about how organized my brain is though because in my life I am about the least organized person you will ever meet. My room always is sprinting towards entropy, I'm nearly always about five minutes late to everywhere, & I lose things constantly. . .and yet I have this massive emotional filing system that was created almost instantly in response to violent mood swings & I can remember exact words of things said to me years ago and I'm quite good (not a genius though unfortunately) at school so. . .again, weird brain.

On a side note, I have heard several people talk about the inside of their ADD heads before and it has always reminded me of the inside of Sherlock Holmes's head and I even read an essay on that somewhere and this is intensely interesting to me in general for reasons I do not quite understand.

I'm glad I have made your brain less lonely :D
