I can definitely understand that OP, I was like that for a time. I hope you get it figured out.

On an unrelated, unimportant note I always thought if someone could find a way to tone it down, or something and mass produce it, it would be even better than a Rememberall. I'd love to have a pocket Erised if it could tell me where the things I was looking for were, remind me what I'd gone into a room for, that important thing was about to say but forgot, the thing I wanted to Google... I'd put it on a chain or something and never take it off.

Sorry about your grandfather being such a douche.

Him resembling The End would probably make me want to shoot him, personally. Okay, not really, but that boss took FOREVER for me. On my second play-through I did the clock trick and my third I made sure to snipe him early so I wouldn't have to deal with him later. It was certainly a memorable, cool experience (not gonna deny that), but...damn was it unnerving for me.

I don't know if you've noticed or not but most of them are pretty cool with some of the things drawn about them. Guude and BdoubleO already play up the "lovers" angle. They'd probably be excited if someone wrote fanfic about them.

Give it a try. You never know. ;) I'd definitely read it.

For me, it was a combination of originally reading semi-crap to decent sex stories on Usenet/Nifty, progressing to RPF and fanfic on ff.n and elsewhere (yes, this was before ff.n killed off all the RPF) and a nice side detour through GAFF and other harsh-critique sections of the WWW.

Basically I learned all the stuff you should try NOT to do, as well as what works. :)

i stopped watching around season five, but even by then she was going downhill. it's nice that they gave her more of a storyline with her boyfriend, but i think that ruined her character

Wow, I seriously envy your funds and/or your freeness with money. I would curl up and die if I spent $10.50 on five minutes of a movie. ANY movie. If you were rewatching the entire movie over and over because you wanted to meet people like the Avengers that would make a tiny bit more sense even though it would still be unhealthy, but wow. Seriously? Five minutes? Ok, the fact that five minutes of this movie made me adore this couple after being pretty "whatever" about them for two prior movies was one of the film's most pleasant surprises, but you sound kind of skeevily obsessed with it in a weird intensely personal way. I dunno if blowing $40 rewatching them is a healthy thing to do, when you could be, you know, trying to meet real life people instead? You sound like the unhealthy polar opposite of the Mirror of Erised secret-maker in Secret #1. "It does not do to dwell on dreams" and all that shit.

Did you at least sit through the next 2.5 hours to get your money's worth? 'Cause you know, unlike TV, where you can TiVo an episode as soon as it airs and rewatch whatever parts you want whenever you want, or books, where you can have the book flipped open beside you while you're discussing it online, having several rewatches under your belt actually really gives you a huge leg up over other fans in movie fandoms — you remember so much more, catch so many more interesting moments and background events, make so many more connections, see so many more interesting reaction shots and hear so many more interesting vocal inflections. You could out-analyze all your cheaper fandom friends and wow them with your heightened expertise.
