I didn't pay much attention to this movie while my 5 year old was watching it (I know, bad mom) but what I caught of it, I assumed he was some sort of Middle Eastern.

I always thought of him as Cuban.

People who think he's white make me sad.

When the movie was first in production, the prince was going to be white - Prince Harry. But Disney got attacked by black rights groups and stuff so they made him dark skinned and changed his name to something more "ethnic."

Nitpick, but Caucasian =/= white. Many Indian people, with brown skin, are Caucasian, for example.
