Especially if it was about the omegas' place in society and they fought for their rights without changing their sexuality. I think in the real world there is a lot of prejudice against bottoms or sexually submissive people of any sort, and I always really like seeing fic that makes a character who bottoms or submits sexually a strong person. Especially when it's not the same tired "Oh, s/he submits in bed, so in real life s/he's a snippy ball-buster who bosses everyone around!" but a thoughtful, carefully created and well-rounded, and complex character.
If that's what you're thinking of writing or inspiring, I'd read the hell out of it.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-15 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)Me, too. Or just shows that being more submissive or shy or quiet or whatever doesn't actually preclude being strong as a person.
It might have something to do with why some of my favorite pairings right now are Cougar/Jensen (The Losers) and Morgan/Reid (Criminal Minds). :3

I like sassy submissive characters, but I also love the loyal quiet ones (who will kill you if you mess with them), too.
I don't know those pairings though because I am not in those fandoms ._.
