Get some coaching and contacts, set up a home studio, and do it part time.
Also, it's your life. You're the one who has to live it and live with your choices. You'll end up hating them and hating your life, especially if you teach. It's thankless work, and more and more parents blame you when their kids fail. There are those who excel and, I'm told, make the all the crap worth it, but I'm not sure I believe them.
