Do what makes you happy. Don't do what other people "expect" of you, or want you to do. If you do, someday you'll look back at this point in your life and wish you'd changed majors/schools/whatever and regret it.
Or you could try to do both. Voice actor work is tough to come by, but so is teaching. And in this economy, the more versatile you are the better.

This. I looked into probably a dozen different things because my parents wanted me to but I wasn't passionate about any of them. As it stands, I'm planning on quitting my current job to go back to school and pursue the thing I really do love doing. I wish I'd done that a long time ago but at least now I have some money saved up so it wasn't a total waste.
