I...kind of get it. Sometimes people are just so ridiculously adamant about something that it makes you step back and think, "Is it just me, or is this a little much?" Sometimes that means you shift to the other extreme.

I try to keep to my original opinion, as long as my reasons for having that opinion are still true. Why do I dislike Mako? Because the only reason he got so much screen time was because Korra liked him. He did nothing but be a love interest for much of season one. As long as he continues to just be the love interest, I am going to hate him.

I like to hear other points of view, though, so I am interested in hearing reasons to like him. I've heard reasons why he's not a complete douchenozzle, which are acceptable, but they don't make him any more likable.
